Glory Jute Ltd. (GJL) is a 100% export-oriented Jute product manufacturing facility. It was established in the year of 2008 and went into production in the year 2009. Md. Moniruzzaman Sheikh started to think about the project when he identified an opportunity to provide a practical solution to companies and consumers who wanted an ecological alternative to plastic bags. It is one of the oldest functioning Composite Jute Mill in the southern part of Bangladesh and last year, it contributed foreign exchange amounting U$$ 16 Million to the national exchequer. Glory Jute Ltd.’s main products are Jute Yarn, Jute Rope, Jute Fabric/ Hessian Cloth and Jute bag. Our high-quality products are hundred percent biodegradable, organic and eco-friendly. While we have always strived to deliver best quality products and maintained a long-term relationship based on innovation, service, growth and trust, at the same time emphasize were always given on being ethical and green manufacturers. GJL wants to reduce carbon footprint on earth, but not at a cost to your business. For that, we are regularly working hard to deliver inexpensive, reusable Jute products. Our state-of-the-art factory is equipped with latest machines and controlled by highly experienced manpower, capable of producing 30-35 Tons Yarn/ Day and 10-15 Tons Bag/ Day with better working environment. We ensured a safe working environment and we do not employ any child labor and do not differentiate between gender, caste or religion. Our assiduous team of qualified and talented professionals possess extensive expertise in their respective domains and help us to not only meet the demands of our clients but exceed their expectations. We are successfully catering the demand of the jute products around the world. Usually, we export our products in China, India, Vietnam, Egypt, South Africa. Sudan, Iran, Russia, Turkey etc. Last year (2020), we exported 7,538 MT jute products around the world and the demand is rising day by day. To comply with the demand, under the strong leadership of the MD and dedication of the GJL human resource, the mill is growing bigger each passing year, while creating more job opportunities and playing roles in the financial development of the country.
